I am music directing and tickling the ivories for Swing For Victory on it's US Tour! So I'll be scarce in September but I'll be back in October ready to go!

Then, I'll be high-tailing and cabbing it outta there to get to Marie's Crisis to play a set, also on the 4th.... so come have a drink with me...

and now I am the newest piano-man (or person...let's keep it PC) at the legendary West Village piano bar: Marie's Crisis

Thesis! and Speargrove!

Thesis has happened! ...and it was a great experience... congrats to collaborador Becca Anderson. Also, it seems my other project New York Theatre Barn's Speargrove Presents could be in line for commercial production! Get excited. More to come.

Why is keeping up a blog so hard!??! LOL

SO I'm finishing up a hum dinger of a musical currently titled "Hatter" with the lovely and talented Becca Anderson....

It's the story of Theophilus Hatter (the man you know as the "mad hatter) and the love of his life Matilda (the woman who will become the queen of hearts) lots of fun hijinx (sp?) with sexually confused playing cards, twisted takes on familiar characters, and lovely legit singers who belt in the second act. "What more could you wish for"

I have written a few ditties for the New York Theatre Barn's Untitled 4 Project... NOW TITLED:

Speargrove Presents.

I've written the songs "Shine" "Turn it Off" and "Live Here" (with Sammy Buck) for this show (with hilarious book by Sammy Buck)

we're doing Shine and Turn It Off tomorrow night at the d-lounge (at 7pm)

and the first big reading with music of the whole first draft is thursday!!! EEEK wish us all luck
